The fall schedule is now available on Roadmap. The non-credit schedule will not appear because it has not been finalized. Fall Priority registration begins June 1. Fall open registration begins September 8.
The Linn-Benton Community College Sweet Home Center will be closed for the months of June, July and August, and Sept 1 – 7. Normal operations will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8. Don’t forget that the LBCC choir will hold their final concert of the year at the First assembly of God Church in Albany on June 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the door or online at linnbenton.edu.
The LBCC annual Juried Student Exhibition is on display in the NSH gallery through June 5. The exhibit showcases more than 60 student pieces in the mediums of painting, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics and photography.
If you are looking for a way to entertain your out of town graduation guests, you might want to attend “Music for Money,” a benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 at the West Hills Congregational Church in Corvallis. Wildland Firefighting Training will be offered through Business and Employer Services at LBCC on June 22-27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost for this non-credit course is $275 and includes all materials. For more information or to register, contact LBCC Business and Employer Services at 541-917-4923.
Student caps and gowns that have been ordered may be picked up on Wednesday, June 3, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday, June 4, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Takena Theatre doors.
