Give us your input

How do we get more people to become involved with the Commuter?

We have been brainstorming for weeks about this issue. It’s important, because this publication doesn’t belong to just us: It’s everyone’s to share.

We want to hear your experiences, from parents with children on campus to high school students taking college credit.

If there’s something you want to write about, do it! Send it in!

Is there’s something you’d like us to report on? Take photos of? Write a column about? Tell us!

If it’s important to you, it’s important to us.

We’ve heard that some students have been attending LB for years and don’t know they have a paper. How do we get the word out that we’re here and ready for your input?

You can always leave your comments about this or any other issues in the comment box below any online story.

We check them and our emails (commuter@linnbenton.edu) daily.

Or give us a call! 541-917-4451.

Or stop by! We’re at F-222. That’s upstairs, facing the courtyard, right before the entrance to North Santiam Hall. If you come from the library, walk upstairs to the second-floor learning center, go outside, turn right and head down until you see us on the right-hand side. We’re about 16 steps forward if you start walking flush with the courtyard clock, next door to the Multicultural Center.

We have a box outside our office if we aren’t there for you to drop suggestions, submissions, corrections, rants, complaints, compliments or anything else you want us to have or know about.

Leave it anonymous, or put your name on it.

Here’s the point: We want you to help us become better. We want you to tell your friends about us, to read us, leave The Commuter in places where people sit down and would usually read a magazine, to know that we’re here to discuss what YOU want to discuss.

But we can only do that if you tell us, so please do.

Thanks
