The 2nd Annual BCSA Art/Music Benefit

CORVALLIS – The BCSA is an Oregon non-profit corporation raising money to build a pool-style skate bowl along with other improvements through multiple phases in Corvallis. The BCSA believes that creating a professional skateboarding pool in Corvallis will have very positive benefits to the community and the local economy. Many skaters, young and old, will soon be making the trek to Corvallis’s new bowl to skate. The BCSA has incorporated the City of Corvallis and the Parks and Recreation Department to achieve their goals. The 2nd Annual BCSA Art and Music Benefit will be held on March 14, at the Odd Fellow hall (223 SW 2nd St.) in Corvallis, Oregon. Proceeds from this event will go toward the new skate pool. Tickets for this all age’s event can be purchased for $5.00 at Peak Sports Board Shop (129 NW 2nd St., Corvallis), Happy Trails Records (100 SW 3rd St., Corvallis) Grass Roots Bookstore (227 SW 2nd St., Corvallis) and at the event. The show starts at 6:00 p.m. There will be an art show with a silent art auction, raffle and door prizes. Music includes; Michael Balok, Dusting Herron, The Jesus Candy, Substitute (The Who tribute), Project 431, Hypenosis, Left Ovaries, and Richard Hedders and will transition from acoustic and rock to a punk rock show after 9:30 p.m.
