OSU Sports Roundup for the week of May 10

From press releases according to Melody Stockwell of OSU sports:

May 7: the softball team wins over No. 9 Arizona state with a 5-4 walkoff. Paige Lowe with a 2-for-3 performance posted her first four RBI game of the season.

May 8: the softball team falls to No. 6 Arizona, 10-0. Paige Lowe tallied her 20th RBI of the season. Lowe scored a solo run two innings later.

May 9: the softball seniors played solidly, but fell 12-12 to No. 6 Arizona.

Junior Kelly Dyer (Eugene, Ore.) earned second team COSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors May 7 for Softbally. Dyer is a returning All-Pac-10 selection at pitcher. She’s sixth all-time for career saves and seventh for all-time career strikeouts with 317. Dyer has 10 wins this season, four complete shutouts and five saves, which ranks her third in the nation. Dyer earned the Beavers’ only Pac-10 All-Academic First Team honors last season as a sophomore and was the OSU everyday champion for the week of May 5-10.
